Anonymous: do you prefer boys or girls as roomates? :)

My current roommate situation is the first time I’ve lived with boys (other than when Ben and I lived together while we dated, which was both awesome and not awesome) and it has been lovely. I also live with girls, and they are awesome as well (although I’m not sure if it counts because I live with two couples.) 

Roommates are tricky, and I’ve currently got the best roommate situation I’ve ever had right now (and I’ve had a few of them) and I think mostly it just comes down to the fact that everyone I live with is freakishly nice, like-minded, relaxed, and responsible. And I love them and they love me , and also my cats. Those are more qualifying factors than gender.
